PDF Forms - Auto Populate "Date Signed" field

Hi,

I am trying to run down how to auto-populate a PDF form field.  The field is "date signed" and should be auto-populated with the date that the form received a signature from the employee.

I believe this involves PDF Template Mappings but am trying to determine how to execute.  Thank you!

If you open the document template from HR Administration > HR Document Templates, you should be able to see a field called "Use signing date" on the field mapping.  Select that and the date should auto-populate.

Hi @Susan Britt
I found an old thread and would like to ask about the 'Use signing date' functionality in Document Templates. Since the Xanadu release indicates that HR Document Templates are being prepared for future deprecation, is there an option to auto-populate the signing date in Document Templates once the user provides their signature in the PDF?

Hi @miro2

Yes, you can capture the date signed in PDF Document Templates too.  If the date is a field on your PDF, you can accomplish this in the template mappings.  There is also a "Use signing date" field.

Is there a way to get the date AND time though?  I can get the date, but we have a requirement to get both date and time that the documents are signed.
