Purpose of the 'Regenerate' button on Summary Report for an Employee Relations Case

Hello, 

On an Employee Relations case, there is a 'Regenerate' button on the Summary Report. When I click the button, it doesn't seem like anything happens... can anyone provide some insight on the actual functionality of this button?
