Hi Community,
We received the following message after cancelling an inflight “Lifecycle Event” case before all “Activity Sets” were “Finished”
"XYZ" Activity Set state changed to Error because a workflow was cancelled"
Wondering if anyone can possibly explain what is happening...
- Are there any immediate or long term implications when this happens? Should we be concerned?
- What is the best practice to cancel an inflight “Lifecycle Event” Case to avoid receiving an “Error”
Thanks for your support.

Hi @Dawn25 ,
This won't be a good way to close Lifecycle Case directly.
You can use Rescind Process of Lifecycle Event to cancel Lifecycle Case and also to revert some tasks like deactivating account, informing Managers, etc.

Hello All,
In case someone will look for it in the future, I can share the source of this message. This message is posted by "On-cancel script" of HR Activity Launcher workflow (Workflow -> Administration -> Workflow Versions).
