User case access

I was having a group which is having access to 2 users let the group name hr and there was another group which is payroll. There was user who belongs only to the payroll group and he was able to see the cases which was assigned to the hr group. There was no coe security present on hr group but still the users with hr basic role able to see the hr assignment group cases. Can anyone help me how to fix this issue

Hi @Community Alums ,
If you want to hide records assigned to a particular group, from another group
You can use Display business rules, by checking the logged In users is part of the Assignment group. If yes, they can see it.

There was a coe security policy created for the group payroll and the users who is part of these group has to see only the cases assigned to this group which was working as expected but in additional to these cases it was also showing the cases which is assigned to hr group. For hr group there is no security policy applied. As per the payroll coe security policies the user has to see only cases assigned to his group not the other group but my problem was the user able to see the other group cases where is not a member of that group

did you check the configuration of that COE policy?
Are you sure that user is member of only payroll group?
