If you are experiencing an email outage on your instance due to a configuration issue or email setting change, your ServiceNow administrator can now easily and efficiently request that email be reprovisioned for the affected instance without submitting an incident.   Users with the customer_admin role can request email re-provisioning for your instance service via Reprovision E-mail on HI.service-now.com.

The email provisioning process commences once the request is submitted and takes approximately an hour to complete.   You will receive a confirmation email once complete and ServiceNow disables email after the provisioning process to stop queued emails from being sent.

 

This item is only available for users with the customer_admin role in HI and should not be requested for an instance that is not experiencing an email configuration outage, as it could cause an email outage.
