Field value calculation metric definition is not working

Hi Team,

I have created field calculation metrics definition on the incident table, but when I am creating the record in the incident table for the first time so in the metrics instance table no record is created.
but when I change the value of priority then it works as expected and creating a record in the metrics instance table.

Can someone help me I just want to calculate the time when priority changes.

Can you share your script? Because it sounds like you are creating a metric record on change of the priority, while it should be done on creation of the incident. But without the script, there is no way of telling what you are doing.

I am not using any script there and I am using type as a field calculation
