Hey, can anyone help me? 

Where I am building a Manager dashboard in the workspace, where I am unable to bind data for count purposes, where the manager has a drop-down, if the manager clicks any assigned group in the drop-down  component, I am unable to bind the count of members of that particular group

We are missing a lot of information here. 

You can just create a dashboard with a filter and make sure the filter has the correct sources. But all of your 'where' doesn't make it easy to see what you are doing exactly.
