form context menu view not displayed

Hello, 

I am currently building a custom application and when I went to create two different views for my form view, I came across an issue. In my dropdown within my form view, the context menu doesn't include the view option -- it is automatically set to the default view and I can't seem to change between views. I granted permissions using the view management module however my other custom applications, the form context menu includes the view option from the dropdown. 

Since the context menu is OOB, I am wondering how to access the view option and some of the other OOB options within my form context menu.

I hope you are saving the form to check the View context menu, it is not present on new record.

I am saving the form, the view option itself is not populating when I click on the header and look up 'view' option on the form context menu dropdown.

By any chance, do you have a view rule on the table, if so View context menu will not be visible, try deactivating it and check.

I'm not sure I follow. 

Can you detail the steps for me.

Just for future reference for myself, why do the rest of my custom applications have those OOB options and this particular app doesn't?
