Hello,

Somehow any plugin that I'm trying to activate on my PDI is failing. Is there something wrong going on? or am I doing something wrong?

Thanks,

Berny

Hey Wayne, yeap. That was exactly the issue that I was facing. Good thing is that I sorted out. 🙂

I'm not sure when this change but I believe that the Activate Plugin link in the Developer portal is useless right now. The right process is to go to the instance and navigate to Plugins. The instance would then redirect you to All Applications which is where actually need to be - Don't be tempted to click on the Plugins link on that message because it's not needed

After that you can search for the Application / Plugin that you want to install

and guess what... after clicking Install on one of those, it would actually work (sometimes after a very very long time)

I hope this helps! Because it definitely helped me 🙂

Cheers!

What is the error?

If there is already a plugin installing and you tried another ,it be waiting for previous one to complete.

Even its an error, try after sometime to install it.

still nothing happens, raise issue via feedback form on developer.servicenow.com.

I'm having a similar issue (possibly the same) with my instance (dev83032) failing to install the HR Case and Knowledge Management plugins. It gets to varying levels of installation and then reports that  the installation failed. I don't know if happens for any other plugins because currently it's reporting "Application installation is unavailable because another operation is running: Installing batch Case and Knowledge Management." So, it thinks the process is still running though it has reported it as failed. This is the second instance this has happened with.

Glad you got your issue resolved. I wasn't using the Activate Plugins link, so it sounds like your issue is a completely different one to the one I've been experiencing. Sadly, that advice is no good for my situation.
