Hi,
I'm planning to activate the indonesia language into ServiceNow Portal. What are the step by step approaches I should follow to enable the language in the platform.
Based on My understanding I followed below steps:
1. Enabled the plugins
com.glide.dynamic_translation
com.glide.localization_framework
com.glide.i18n
sn_lw
2. Config the Language as Indonesia
/sys_language.do?sys_id=404ec0c95d454710a650d6831be7717c
3. Config System Localization Settings
System Localization > Languages.
What are the remaining steps I should follow to activate in the platform. Can you please help? I followed below link to explore the localization.
Suresh.

Hi @ersureshbe,
Ok, so there is quite a bit to unpack here.
The first thing is that as SN doesn't provide a Language Pack for Bahasa Indonesian, this would be a self-localized language, which means whilst you have added a language record in the [sys_language] table, yes you would need to use LF (or LW) and maybe a third-party MT provider (e.g. MS or Google) to fetch translations via the LF "Artifacts" this will be a project - it's not going to be instant.
In the Language Support guide - I would highly highly recommend you watch (end to end) the "Breaking Language Barriers" workshop as it will detail everything you need to know,
Many thanks,
kind regards
