Hi Team,
The product development group wants to speed up and simplify the creation of Contracts for non-disclosure agreements.
1. | Create a form template that anyone can use to apply the necessary field values specific to non-disclosure agreement contracts. Name the form template 'Create NDA Contract' and have it set the following fields:
| ||||||||
2. | Test the Create NDA Contract form template by creating a new non-disclosure agreement for the vendor Apple. You may enter any value for the Contract number. | ||||||||
3. | Stay on the same form by using Save, rather than Update. Then make use of Insert and Stay to create a second non-disclosure agreement using the same values but change the vendor to Google. |

Hi Siddhnath,
1. Go to System Definitions-->Templates and create a Template on "ast_contract" Table as in below Screenshot.
2. Once Done, Type ast_contract.LIST--> Open any record-->Click on Toggle bar (3 dots on top) and Select your Template "Create NDA Contract" and create two records as given in Point 2 & Point 3
Please mark answer helpful, if this helped you.
Regards

We're looking at something similar. How would you recommend creating reusable content so users can drag-and-drop into a new record? In other words, as a contract manager I want to create a new NDA document. In doing so, I want to use standard text that the legal team has provided. How can we have that standard text created/managed by the legal team then made available to use in the contract record?

Hi Pawan,
Thank for your detailed instructions. They were very helpful.
I have encountered this in the activity 4 of the ServiceNow Fundamental Simulator.
Unfortunately the Simulator itself is a bet confusing, because the first thing it does is to send the student to " Contracts > Contracts > All" and then requires the creation of the template, leaving the impression that it is from the Contract Module that the activity is being performed.
While is reality, the activity needs the student to navigate to Templates, in System Definitions, just like you have described.
Thank you for your help!
Respectfully,
Constantin
