ACC/ACC-V native/installed clients vs SaaS applications via browser

Hi All,

I'm hoping someone can help point me in the right direction. We are currently undertaking a design of ACC-V for End User devices that will work with SAM Pro for software metering.

My understanding is that ACC has been designed to capture the metrics for installed/native applications on the end user device and won't be able to capture the same metrics for browser-based SaaS applications. I can see it being able to capture metrics for the browsers themselves (as an installed application) but not specific URLs or web-based apps (and the DEX plugin has not been purchased). I have been told recently that it can do both, but I've been unable to find any documentation that supports this, that doesn't require additional plugins like DEX etc.

Is my understanding correct or can ACC-V monitor both installed and browser-based SaaS apps?
