ADME : Can this be disabled ?

We have been seeing too many cancelled jobs due ADME failing on Linux and Windows machines.

Is there a way to disable ADME for both ?

Could you explain what is an ADME please?

Enhanced ADM (ADME) discoveryTriggers an enhanced ADM probe that installs a script on host machines on which Discovery takes regular samples of active TCP connections. You can use a set of properties and probe parameters that control several aspects of enhanced ADM discovery.

ADME discovery is not enabled by default.

Hi Anand,

If it is regarding Application Dependency Mapping (ADM) for Discovery,  you can enable or disable ADM discovery, and you can set the location of the TCP tracking file for enhanced ADM.

Please follow the below documentation for more information:

If you believe the solution provided has adequately addressed your query, could you please **mark it as 'Helpful'** and **'Accept it as a Solution'**? This will help other community members who might have the same question find the answer more easily.

Thank you for your consideration.

Hi Selva,

I have this KB but it does  not have the information for fixing ADME errors during discovery. So if you are publishing this KB as a solution i suggest review it again.

Thanks,

Anand
