I wanted to also throw another suggestion into the ring here. On the Discovery and Service Mapping Patterns plugin page, ServiceNow has the following message posted:
New patterns are regularly published in the ServiceNow Store between major product releases. Discovery and Service Mapping customers can use updated or modified patterns without having to wait for the next major release.
You can submit new pattern requests at the Ideas Portal:

I have submitted this idea to the ideas portal and would appreciate anyone else in the same scenario to upvote my idea post. If we get enough likes, the idea will make its way to the ServiceNow DEV team to create a new Discovery pattern for ARC resources in Azure.
