Azure integration with Event Management

Hi,

I am looking at integrating Azure Monitor and Azure Log Analytics into ServiceNow ITOM Health.
I noticed that 2 main integrations are available:
1) ServiceNow Event Management and Azure Monitor Integration (From Microsoft)
2) Azure Monitor integration (From ServiceNow)

From your experiences do you recommend one over the other?

We are looking for an integration which supports OAUTH2 and bi-directional communication. I believe both do.

For the integration created by ServiceNow, do we need to use a MID server to close the events in Azure?
Do you have any detailed instructions on both integrations?
The documentation is NOT 100% clear for me.

Almost two years later and the documentation is still poor with regard to integration Azure for event management.

Event management needs some more love. Lack of documentation for anything which has to do with Event Management

Ya .... its obvious that much of the documentation is written without thorough review or quality control.

Did we get an answer to this? Why do we need MID Server for Pull Connector but not for Push Connector?
