Best Approach to exclude pattern executions in AWS Cloud Discovery

Hi Team,

I have a requirement to fetch the AWS certificates from the AWS Manager. I am trying to follow this documentation:

https://www.servicenow.com/docs/bundle/yokohama-it-operations-management/page/product/service-mappin...

While performing the cloud discovery, we are discovering all other cloud resources and not just the certificates.

What is the best way to exclude discovering the rest of the resources - should I be deactivating the other AWS patterns or there is a better approach available?

Another observation on the pattern is the Trigger Rules under Pattern Orchestration (screenshot attached), and the following hierarchy was noticed:

  • Trigger Rules of Amazon AWS - Certificates Manager -> Amazon AWS Datacenter discovery
  • Trigger Rules of Amazon AWS Datacenter discovery -> Amazon AWS - Sub Account (LP)
  • Trigger Rules of Amazon AWS - Sub Account (LP) -> Amazon AWS Service account

So if we follow the deactivation process, we might have to keep the above trigger rules active. Alternatively, is it possible to discover the certificates with a custom pattern without any trigger rules?
