I believe there's no universal answer, each instance will have it's own methods to ingest data in that table and some will might be even empty...
So it will strongly depend on how is the instance governed and what do you expect to see from these tables - some organisations seed the data and no longer care about it, some maintain it weekly, some yearly, etc.
