Can anyone please tell what is the purpose of the "mid.cloud.provider" MID server parameter?

In ServiceNow Rome patch 4 release, during MID Server configuration we could see a new parameter "mid.cloud.provider none" getting added automatically. What is the purpose of this parameter?

Searched in ServiceNow Docs but couldn't get any details on that parameter.

This parameter is used to show the provider of the Cloud like AWS, Azure where MID server is hosted.
