Certificate Management : Renewal Tasks for Automated Workflow

How the renewal tasks are generated for expiring certificates in the Certificate Renewal (Automated Flow) . I do see certificate notification ( scheduled job) creates renewal tasks on the manual flow table but not seeing anything for automated flow . Do we need to enable any property to get this generated ?

I do have set the checkbox to true in discovery properties for certificate renewal. Appreciate any inputs on this

I had the same problem. There is no simple property to deactivate the (Manual Flow), but after reading many post and I think I read it correctly. You will find the flow here;

  • Go to flow designer
  • Go to Subflows
  • There is a flow named "Certificate Notification" and application "Certificate Inventory and Management"

  • Within the flow on our instance, it is on line 26

  • I have yet to make changes. I will investigate further and get back to you on, what we do next.

I am posting something that may help someone else while we do our analysis.

Hi @jay_rp , @DomenicFP

I understand the Renewal Tasks to be created from the Certificate Renewal (Automated Flow), and Certificate Manual Tasks to be created OOB. Curious how you went about your implementations if you also leveraged Certificate Renewal (Automated Flow)? Did you use both Manual and Automated Flows? Did the Automated bits have to then go back and update the Manual Task? Or did you turn off the Manual Task bits?

Looking forward to your insights,

Thank you!
