Hello,

I would like to know the generic challenges we face after ServiceNow instance upgrades from one version to another??

What are our roles after upgrade till stability ???

How we raise the upgrade request??

Steps to follow once it is upgraded for monitoring the log??

Whom do we seek to escalate any concerns or issues to resolve them??

Please do provide with real time examples who have already came across with this scenario....

even i need to upgrade from eureka to helsinki , i had lots of queries too.but some i can answer. the above links by them should be gone thoroughly before doing upgrade.

* you should be completely proactive and be in touch with hi support for any queries or issues.



How we raise the upgrade request??



* 3 days prior to the upgrade we need to place the upgrade request in servicenow hi support and schedule it based on ur convenience,



Steps to follow once it is upgraded for monitoring the log??



* first you shld upgrade dev and test if u have and then capture all the fixes in the update set which will help you for production.



Whom do we seek to escalate any concerns or issues to resolve them??
