I have created an application service randomly and trying to use ci binding type i.e. CI field matching and given CI type as Application and you can see below the application I have created and images of event rule definition. When I created an event and it's triggering the event rule but not binding the CI. Why??

What I understood from the picture is you are trying to map the Application Service (cmdb_ci_service_mapped) class to Application class(cmdb_ci_appl) which is not possible.

I got you what you said and i changed the ci type to mapped application service class.
and as it is a application service i am not passing the node value but passing name through additonal information through event.
still you can see that the ci is not finding? btw thanks for the info that you have given earlier.

I want to bind the ci with "CI field matching" CI type but I see you are using ci identification as a ci type right.? can't i bind by using this method?
