Cisco Meraki Discovery

There are a few threads about Cisco Meraki discovery but nothing that quite addresses what I'm experiencing.

For those of you that are discovering Meraki devices successfully are you pulling in model information and serial numbers? I'm creating CI's but there doesn't appear to be an entPhysical table being returned through the SNMP payload, and this is where you would normally find this information.

Additionally, I noticed the ENTITY-MIB was not active in my instance. I thought this was odd because I know this is the MIB that is used for entity information, but other SNMP devices are being discovered just fine. I activated the MIB but obviously this isn't helping because the payload coming from the devices doesn't contain that entPhysical table anyway.

Am I missing something? What did you have to do?

We did not, and frankly we had to move on to other projects so this got backlogged.

I was facing the same issue. We found the oid in XML pay load and added it to the SNMP oids (t was not present).  All the devices with the same model got discovered.

@pratiksha5 can u share more info? Like which OID and post that what other steps were done to discovery and classify in right class?

I have one question related to Meraki devices, after the Discovery the install status changing to retired. Why?
