Hello Community,
We ran azure cloud discovery and were able to get the resources groups populated in the CMDB table. However we are not able to get the resources discovered (or not getting populated in CMDB table)
Few facts -
- Service principal a/c set up and working
- Subscription registered and getting discovered
- Resources groups counts are exact match in SN(Ci table) and azure
- When we run cloud discovery we have included all datacenters
- Ensured discovery and service mapping pattern plugin is latest
However within resources we have logic app, app service etc which are missing when we run cloud discovery. We don't know where to look at to get these discovered.
Any pointers or guidance for the same would be much appreciated.
Thank you experts.

Hi,
When you say resources.... you mean azure cloud resources? Services set up in Azure? Not things running on hosts?
Not all Azure resources are populated in CMDB out of the box. Here is a link to the documentation that shows which CI classes are being populated.

Update - i did run discovery and also migrated from CAPI to pattern based however no luck. Nikla - you have a good point and yes i want resources, like logic app , app service , applications. Basically resources within those resource groups.

Hi,
There is also a generic class for resources that doesn't have a CI class of its own. Cloud Resource (Cloud Resource [cmdb_ci_cmp_resource]. It's populated by the Azure Inventory Pattern.
