CMDB Correlation in the Event Management

Is it possible to correlate server and network, related alerts by using CMDB correlation in event management?

The relationship is represented in the attached Image

In my scenario:

The server alerts are grouped as CMDB but IP switch (Network) creates individual alerts.

Thats should be grouping , Please relationship is thier, Please reverify the configuration based on above document, Might be you are missing some small configuration.

Servicenow layer2 discovery does not add network and server as Primary and Secondary.
