Could not resolve mid server for API request (OpenStack Datacenter discovery)

Hello All,

I am facing an issue while I am trying to discover the OpenStack  datacenters. it is showing like "Could not resolve mid server for API request". But I checked the discovery of an IP range using quick Discovery . it is working fine.

Do I need to set-up anything on OpenStack platform for the discovery? Or do I need to set-up anything on the ServiceNow instance for the discovery of the OpenStack datacenter?

Please help me on this issue.

This kind of error "Could not resolve mid server for API request" mostly come either MID server is down or there is no mid server configured. CPG needs MID server configuration for cloud discovery.

Hi,

I would say check the support application and capabilities of mid server.

I added the capabilities for OpenStack also.

Still the issue is not resolved.
