De-duplication Task not creating for Duplicate CI's

Duplicate Tasks are not creating for Duplicate CI's. Anything needs to verify my end..Please help

Hi,

Identification engine will process one by one and if match found it wont process the other rules. Please check either by making there name same or putting IP address rule at the top priority.

Based on the data you provided, de-dup tasks will not be created. The names do not match. Try re-naming them to match and see if the task gets created. Preferably the one that was imported manually.

I guess I have an answer for you.

Please check my article published recently which is regarding a similar issue:

Discovery via Probes does not mark "Duplicate of" field, and does not create de-duplicate task

Along with the above, I request you to please check the system properties whose names are:

• glide.identification_engine.skip_duplicates.threshold
• glide.identification_engine.skip_duplicates

Hi Srikanth,

Thanks for the update.  As i mentioned we are using Probes at that time, later upgraded to Patterns.. then my issue got resolved automatically.

Present values:

glide.identification_engine.skip_duplicates.threshold -5

• glide.identification_engine.skip_duplicates - TRUE
