Disable database discovery in horizontal discovery

Hi,

Is there a way to disable Database discovery ( ex: sql server , Oracle , Cassnadra, Couchbase) from horizontal discovery so that when i run discovery then it wont create database application related CIs ex (Instance, database,bcket..).

However i am not going to enter any applicative credentials for any DBs but sometimes at OS level access may provide information to create a CI which i want to avoid. 

else to me it looks like search patterns related to DBs and disable but not sure how effective this approach would be.

Any help would be greatly appreciated..

If you go to the CI Classification > Processes table [discovery_classy_proc] you can use the form link action 'Create "No classify" process handler' to deactivate process classification which triggers the pattern execution that explores running processes

Discovery Definition > configuration console has easy switches to turn it off.

You can disable by using configuration console.
