If your printer is using SNMP - as long as you have a Discovery Credential with the SNMP Community String available (*or Password if SNMP V3 and password has been configured) then it should discover correctly.

This is normally set to the word: "public" by most vendors as a default.
If you as a business have changed this from the default, you will need to consult your networking team for details.

Hi vamshi,
Suppose your printer is connected in the network, open a web browser and type the IP of that printer, then check whether the SNMP is enabled in the network or not, you can check while selecting the network summary in the Home tab and then go down to Enabled Features Section their you can find the SNMP status whether its enabled or disabled.
If Enabled it will definitely, otherwise ask you network administrator to change the Status of the Printer.
If you think this information is helpful please mark as helpful or like it.
thanks
Madhava
