Discovery Schedules keeps cancelling

I have a discovery schedule which keeps getting cancelled.

From the discovery status I see a very generic message

 

Error - Cancelling Discovery

Discovery decision Cancel, Reason: No progress was detected on status. Cancel status

 

I have checked if there is mid server resource contention and also checked on the max run time, everything looks as good.

As part of troubleshooting I have also tried running the discovery out of schedule hours to check on the above points.

 

When checked there is one active job under devices tab. Looking at the ECC queue,I have attached the screen shot we can a probe hanging for the same device where the probe is waiting for a long time to get it processed.

 

So I did exclude this IP and ran the discovery again and it comes a scenario where discovery gets cancelled again pointing to a different IP address with same situation.

 

After checking on what this IP address its pointing to IBM frames which are retired.

 

As per my understanding IBM frames are discovered through AIX servers.

Can someone help me on how to come overcome this situation

Hi @HarshitaC ,
This may be due to dynamic IPs are being changed for devices.
Could you please check the sn_pattern_design plugins version is >= 6.26.0 and sn_itom_pattern's version is >= 1.27.0, Since there are issues in previous version.
