Recommended Azure VM series for ServiceNow MID Server

Hi Experts,

 

Our Azure team has asked us below two questions : 

 

  1.  Is there any document that defines outbound data transfer from MID server to ServiceNow cloud intance i.e. Azure cloud to outside data flow volume - Data discovered by MID server in Azure cloud will be transferred to ServiceNow instance - we need to know how much of this could be - if target is to discover 350 windows servers, 200 Linux servers, Azure cloud resources in an environment.
  2. Azure VM series that we as a  ServiceNow team should recommends for MID server in Azure when asking for VMs in Azure platform - example - B2 als_V2, B2 as_V2 - is there any such documents that can help us identify this.

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Hi Hanumant,

There isn't any documentation as there are too many variables to calculate potential data volume. The sizing and scaling is something that should be determined during the development cycle to right-size the MID server deployment which will then inform the expected server requirement for production
