Display On Call User Details

Hi All,

I am working on the On Call Scheduling Module for my client. My concern with this is listed below:

1. How can I show the on call user details on the calendar or by hovering the mouse pointer over the user name?

2. How can I display contact number, apart from the default mobile phone number from the user table? Need to add another 'on-call number' field to be displayed instead of the users default mobile phone number in the on call schedule report.

Your help would be really appreciated. Hope to find the answers to my queries.

Look at the following article to perform this work.   I had the same issue and resolved it with the solution below.

One item to note is this address the calendar but reports printed from the On-Call scheduling will not pull out the custom phone number.   I am still in the process of figuring how to make the report pull the correct number.

Hello Ritika,



I have not looked at the new version of the On-Call calendar (Istanbul Release) on how to populate a custom number.   I am not planning on customizing the new calendar and instead will use the update of the user information to copy the custom field information into the existing cell phone information.   You can still select a person in the schedule to view phone contact information it just does not show in the calendar.

I am trying to change business phone number to on-call phone number in the schedule when we open the person's contact information .



I am just not able to search from where we do the setup of person's contact imformation when we view them .
