Hi All,
I'm facing an issue at present where we use various load balancers, some F5s, some netscalers, etc.
However, the netscaler records are not being detected as duplicates.
Yes, I've read through the ServiceNow blogs/forums re de-duplication, but don't fully understand it still so am hoping someone can help. Our SysAdmin cannot.
I've currently got 200+ records for "netscaler" on our estate, all with the same name and serialnumber, and all discovered by ServiceNow.
Our weekly dashboard job runs, but these are never flagged for de-duplication. We have no health inclusion rule for our load balancers (Inherited or otherwise).
Any ideas on how to remediate the duplication at all? Without the devices just being discovered again. Ideally the IRE should identify that the Serial Number and Name match and flag these for de-duplication.
Thanks

Hi @Tom104
We are facing the same issue. Did you get a solution to this?
Thanks!

Hi,
I believe I've found at least part of the issue for us.
Our netscalers had two separate DNS names from speaking to our infrastructure team. As an example, ns01 and ns02
However, unless the MIB is updated to reflect the individual DNS name on each of the netscalers they constantly flag as duplicates.
We haven't resolved the issue on our side as yet (takes a while to get the work done internally).
