I am having problem in discovering my AIX box. The Shazzam probe fails with no result output and then the discovery stops.
If my understanding is correct, it is like an SSH session to the box and I can do that SSH session from putty to the AIX server.
My mid server is configured in a RHEL box and I hoped that it can discover AIX without issue.
let me know if there is some issues regarding to this or you need any inputs.

1) Look at the results from the shazaam probe - Are ports 22 and 53 "open" or "refused" when you look at the ECC Queue input
2) Are there any active firewalls on the box that would prevent traffic from being seen on those ports?
3) Can you ping the AIX server from your MID server host? If your ping times out, there might be a switching or routing rule blocking the target subnet.
4) If ping fails, then try traceroute to see where the traffic drops off. That should help you out as well.
