After enabling the venter discovery, we get several ESX class servers whose serial number is empty.
They have some common facts:
1. Serial number is empty
2. model id: VMware VMware Mobility Platform
3. os contains "VMware ESXi"
Regarding to how to manage those devices like hardware devices or virtual, I had some research. But I can't find all the answers. Can anyone help?
1. The device with "VMware Mobility Platform" should be a feature from "VMware Hybrid Cloud Extension (HCX)". Is this correct?
2. If it is an HCX, it doesn't look like a physical box which has ESXi OS installed. Although its OS is "ESXi", just like the physical devices, is it appropriate to classify them as a ESX server whose "Is Virtual" is false?
