Hello everyone,

I am working on few service maps where am trying to run discovery the following error is coming up  for most of the windows server, "Failed to execute WMI command on host XX.XXX.XXX.XXX command: %SystemRoot%\system32\netstat -a -n -o | %SystemRoot%\system32\findstr /R ":XXX" error message: Adding target to blacklist. No valid credential found for type [Windows]". The credentials are correct with domain_name/user_name.

Can anyone tell me why such error is coming up?

Thank you in advance.

Regards,

Tejaswini.

Hi Anas,

Thank you for quick response, I went through the KB you shared, and the probe is running successfully without the error.

Even if I am running the quick discovery for the IP, it is successful. But when I am running discovery from service map, I am getting above error. Traffic discovery is enabled.

Any other reason of getting this error?

Regards,

Tejaswini.

Inactive traffic based discovery and then try.

(1) Is it possible to Take RDP of one Such Windows Host Where Error is Coming

(2) Login Using the Same CREDS which is used to create Windows Credentials Record for Discovery

(3)Try Firing the Same command which discovery is firing on that Host

What is the Behavior?

is Windows user used for discovery has DOMAIN ADMIN Permission?

Regards
