Hello All,
For field normalization onto the fields which are filled through discovery, is there any process which could be achieved without consuming much of time.
I just tried achieving this by activating Field Normalization Plugin and tried normalizing the field through aliases and by using rules. The result was positive.
Question is as of now there are more than hundreds of data which needs to be normalized. Whether the normalized field data captured through an update set/ direct pull by xml file.. could be moved to other instances or is it a good practice to perform this again manually.
Thanks..

There are quite a bit of files involved in the FN process. Theoretically you should be able to move them by update sets although I'd make sure you try moving one simple set over first and making sure it does work before continue with the rest.

Hi Aleck,
Thank you for the response.
Tried out the method suggested from your end.
Unfortunately, did not show up any results moving the data through update set nor by .xml file upload.
Any further thought on this..
Thanks,
Samar

mmh, I'm not sure why it wouldn't. They should produce the right xml files in the update set when you create/update these FN configurations. Maybe you could contact a professional service provider for help.

Hi Samar,
Better to perform changes manually , i would suggest this is good.
