Hi @all
I have enabled the create task for staleness metric and ran the correctness health job but still tasks are not getting created for staleness what could be the possible issue? how much time will take to create the tasks for all Stale CIs?

Hi @baba
Even after enabling Create Task for the staleness metric and running the Correctness Health Job, staleness tasks may not be created immediately.
Explanation:
This is expected behavior. Staleness tasks are not created by the Correctness Health Job. Each CMDB health dimension (Completeness, Correctness, and Staleness) runs independently. Staleness is evaluated only by the CMDB Health – Staleness scheduled job, and task creation is intentionally batched and throttled to avoid performance impact on the instance.
Please check the following:
- Confirm that the CMDB Health – Staleness scheduled job is active and has run.
- Verify that staleness rules are enabled and that the configured thresholds (in days) are being met.
- Ensure the relevant CI classes are included in the staleness evaluation.
- Check that a staleness task definition exists and has a valid assignment group.
- Allow sufficient time for task creation, especially in larger CMDB environments.
Expected time for task creation based on CMDB size:
- Small CMDB volume: up to ~1 hour
- Medium CMDB volume: several hours
- Large CMDB volume: 1–3 days
Once the staleness job runs and the thresholds are exceeded, tasks will be created gradually over time.
If this response helped, please mark it as the accepted solution so others can benefit as well.
