Hi,
Can we get a count of data before running the actual discovery? If yes, then please provide the solution for that.
Thank you in advance!!

Hi,
Not sure what you are asking for here... can you elaborate on "a count of data"?

Niklas

Hi Niklas Peterson,
Count of records means the data which will get discover after running discovery and getting update in cmdb table.
Is there any way to find out the count of data before running discovery?
Thanks,
Shraddha

Hi,
I would say no.
You cannot get an answer if you are not asking the question, Discovery is that question and the answer is what is updating the CMDB.

Niklas

Hi Shraddha,
When creating schedule, select Discovery field as "IP addresses".
This way Discovery scans devices without the use of credentials. These scans discover all the active IP addresses in the specified range and create device history records, but do not update the CMDB. IP
