Has anyone tried discovering Storage devices via SNMP? Were you able to discover and populate enough information via SNMP? What permissions/access were given?

Hi @arordeep ,
Yes possible! what storage device are you trying to discover. ?
Generally storage devices can be discovered using 'SNMP' but will provide you limited info of the device.
If the storage product supports SIM-s the go for CIM creds and SIM-s agent to discover complete storage discovery..
here is my article on storage discovery:
7 Steps : Servicenow NetAPP Storage discovery Using SNMP
i hope this helps...

Thank you Sohail for your response. Storage devices in our environment don't support SMI-S, as per the Storage Supplier. Have you tried via SNMP and what access/permission was granted? We have tired via SNMP v3 community string (with Root/Admin access) but not getting the required information (in tabular form), it is getting "NULL" string value and pattern "Isilon Storage" is failing.
