Hierarchy of Client Script, UI Policy and Business Rule and ACL

Does anyone know the hierarchy, say ACL says read/write, then i have a script to say readonly. What will apply? Same with others, UI Policy and Client Script, what will be applied.

Hi Rusty,

I would check for other Client Scripts and UI/Data Policies being applied... you may have some competition going on, and the last one applied wins.

Edit:   one other thing to check... Do you have this field set as Mandatory/Required?   If so, set this to false before trying to make the field read-only.
