How do I make the "reference list view" behave like the regular default view. When I select NEW from the Contract list I get the default form view show up. When in a asset on the Contracts tab there is a list called Assets Covered. If I click on "Insert a new row..." it bring up a entry field with a magnifying glass.
When I select the magnifying glass it brings up a pop-up list of contracts. That is good. But I need a new contract so I hit NEW. This brings up the "reference list view" for the Contract not the default form view. That would be okay as I can make that like the default form there than the fields that have references don't have the magnifying glass. How do I turn on the magnifying glass(list search) on the reference fields on the "reference list view"? Or and this has been asked before with no reasonable answer How do I point the contract default form instead of the contract "reference list view" pop-up.

You know what... I've never noticed that before. I don't create too many new records from a reference list view. I suspect it is to prevent you from navigating away from the original record you are creating so you cannot do something like:
Open change request> Lookup CI> Click New to create a new CI> Assigned to> Lookup> Create a new User - wait, what happened to the new CI at this point?!

Creating a new object from the reference list view is probably the most convenient for the user though so having a full form there should be a priority. Why would a user want to go find the other form to add a new object when it should be readily available right from the reference list new button.
