Dear Experts,
We are in the process of discovering the AD servers. However, it was brought to our notice on how much secure the ACC are whether it can be hacked or someone can login to the ServiceNow by impersonating an admin user and can use the credentials make changes in the config files of the ACC- I need to get some documentation which will help me to give answers to their questions regarding this. This is a bit urgent.

Hi @Nilanjan1 ,
Let me put some 3 points which will clear your doubts and this will also justify how secure ACC is :
1. ACC uses SSL/TLS encryption for secure communication between the discovery and agent. this ensure that any sensitive configuration remains encrypted.
2. Acc uses secure mechanism for authenticating any discovery agent to ensure only trusted and verified agents are allowed to intact.
3. ACC will facilitate communication between discovery agent and servicenow - it doest directly expose or modify any configurations of the device.
But yes, if servicenow instance or ACC configuration is misconfigured then unauthorized user may gain access.
Hence its so secure,...
