How to configure Message Key or best way to configure Message Key?

Hi All,

We are receiving events using MID SNMP Trap Listener method. 

As we know, with this method only source, description and additional information fields are populated with the values.

I want to understand what's the best way to configure Message key by extracting the information from additional information field. 

FYI: We are not receiving any unique identifier information in the event payload. 

Please let me know your thoughts on this. Thank You!

It could be a combination of  Source, Node, Type, and Resource . You can collect the events and look for these combinations to make the events unique.

Best way to configure message keys from traps, is configuring MID Server to do so.

Can someone guide how we can replace the message key with an id in the additional information field (JSON) of an event? We want the alerts to be created based on that unique ID.
