How to delete service map?

Hi,

1. How to delete a service map. I have deleted the entry point and Application service.

Then when I create a new service and give the entry point, the map is appearing instantly.

So where is that map and its connections stored.

2. On Some hosts in the map, I have chosen the option of 'Keep' in traffic based discovery. Where will this data be stored (so that I can undo it if needed later on), as you know there would be several records in the traffic based connections.

Hi -- Its unlikely/unusual to save the traffic based discovery info.  This is temporary IP connection-related traffic data used to help you build & understand maps during the building process.  At least personally, I don't leave this option enabled for production maps, but rather use it for hints during the initial build-out of a map.

Since traffic based stuff is transactional in nature and changes, I really would not bother trying to save it.  If you need it in the future, turn on the option and re-capture it at that point in time.
Hope this helps?

Hi Dave,

Your points are valid until Jakarta. But starting Kingston, its all about hybrid maps : (patterns + traffic).

So leaving traffic based checked it infact recommended and good. This is what I understand clearly from the official videos/docs from Servicenow.

Let me know if I am wrong.
