Hello All,
I am new to Storage discovery. We are trying to discover Pure Flash Array storage devices. Storage team has provided a Management IP and test account with read-only access. I have configured credentials as Basic Auth Credential. We are getting authentication failed error in discovery logs.
Please help me to understand which type of credentials are required?
Which ports should be open for Pure FlashArray discovery?

Hi @Abbas_5 ,
To discover Pure Storage Array devices, all you need to do is configure the CIM credentials. To verify the credentials, log in to the MID Server and try accessing the device using the same credentials.
Example: https://<ipaddress>/dashboard
Once the credentials are confirmed, run the discovery and you should be good to go.
We disocver them with this same procedure, good luck. hope this helps.
Regards,
Vinil.

Which pattern is used for FlashArray discovery, is it the one named "Pure Storage"? I set this pattern to active and did the MID Server sync step, but discovery is not really doing anything. Shazzam probe finds http port open and it looks like HTTP Classifier is successful, BUT the Pure Storage pattern is never started. Is there an update to a Classifier needed? Any other updates needed? Plugins are at latest level, instance is at Washington DC version.

Hi ,
We are experiencing the same issue; the classification is not successful, and the pattern is not triggered. Did you get a fix for this,
