How to discovery storage switch discovery? we added OOID SNMP classification for Storage switch but it is toggling both classes (IP switch and storage switch)

 

Which method to use for storage switch discovery ?

Hi @sukran ,

 

Try to get the Storage Switch Management server IP and try to discover using that, Also while you are adding the Classification based on OID for Storage Device, Please use the correct class to populate the same as well as correct pattern to be triggered to discover that class.

 

If its brocade storage switch, then there are must be a Brocade Management Server which managing the all Brocade Storage switch , get the IP of that and ask to enable the credentials on it and it will discover and populate the switch in storage switch class.
