How to remove a field from additional Information in an event

We are trying Ci binding. So we are trying to use name in the additional information to bind CI. However Correlation Id is causing an error.

Following fields are there in additional Info in the event - 

1. Url 

2. Correlation id 

3. Name

I want to remove correlation id from the additional information to ensure CI binding via name. Is there any way to do it w/o using BR's? Snapshot of the event rule in place

In Transform the value you want to select is to be matched with the name field.  

In binding override the default binding. Select CI field matching and make sure you select the correct CI type. Keep the node field blank.

Thanks for replying , please see me response to the suggestions made

1. Node binding has been done the exact same way by selecting CI field matching and making the node empty. The node is empty in the snapshot pasted in my original query.

2. The article doesn't look to be working.

Also my problem is correlation Id in additional information which i want to delete/remove from there.

You have to remove it from source or delete the event rule. And when you create it again do not use the UI action to create the event rule. Create it manually.
