incdent is not showing in task field of alert form.

Hello Experts,

 

When I have created the Alerts from the event. Incident Number is not showing in the task field of alert form, instead of incident number something different is showing. When I am clicking on the i button next to task field Incident form is open.

understood your problem. Is the behaviour same across the instance or only on alert table. what happens if you refer an incident in problem? is it showing number or description?

If the behaviour is same across your instance, you need to remove the display = true for description field

which field is display value on incident form?

you can check this in dictionary table

It is not working. when I am seeing the alert in list view so for all the alert task field is populating with respective incident description instead of incident number.
