I have not tried this myself, but I believe it should be possible. You could go to the root cmdb_ci table and export all of the entries into an Excel file and then import that file into the sub-prod instances.

You can also use Integration HUB ETL feature to transfer data seamlessly, but it needs some effort.
If only the CMDB CI Count matters then You can do export from CMDB_CI table and export it. In this case You will miss the Child Class Specific Attributes as CMDB_CI will not contain those.
From cloning to achieve this you need to add a lot of table exclusion or preservers which is literally impossible.
In My view for selective data move from prod (let say 40 CMDB Tables ) to non prod cloning is not the way practically.

Hi,
We have new feature called as Data Replication but it has to be purchased or needs subscription.
Second you can clone the data form prod to dev and you need to make sure that you dont have preserve data rules and exclude table rules.
Thanks,
Ashutosh
