Hey team! 👋

The August store drop is here, and it's all about making AI value visible and expanding the depth of integration.  We've got AI time-savings quantified right on the dashboard, a full Azure Monitor Issues integration, new Dynatrace Grail support, smarter AI Specialist ownership handling, and the completion of the Now Assist → ServiceNow Otto rebrand across ITOM. Here's everything worth knowing.

AI Value on the AIOps 360 Dashboard 💰

This is the headline. AI-driven operational value is now quantified and visible directly on the AIOps 360 view dashboard — so teams can finally measure what automation is giving back.

  • New "Time Saved by AI" widget — estimates time saved based on how many alerts AI closed as insignificant and how many it analyzed to provide insights or next-step recommendations. Admins can adjust the time-saving definitions used in the calculation.
  • New "Closed by AI" resolution type — alerts closed as insignificant by AI now carry a dedicated resolution type, surfaced in the AIOps 360 heatmap chart for improved visibility of AI-driven outcomes.

💡 Required apps: AIOps Dashboards

AIOps AI Specialist — Ownership & Investigation Improvements 🤖

The AI Specialist gets smarter about respecting human ownership and learning from operator overrides.

  1. Operator-reopened alerts get full AI investigation automatically — when an operator reopens an alert the AI previously closed as noise, the system bypasses noise classification for the rest of that alert's lifecycle and runs a complete investigation.
  2. AI-handled alerts are automatically returned to the original operator — after analysis or remediation, the alert is reassigned back to the human who originally owned it, preserving all AI-generated context and notes.
  3. Auto-assignment no longer overrides human ownership — the AI Specialist won't take over alerts already assigned to a human operator, keeping accountability clear.
  4. AWS Claude is now supported as an AI agent provider, expanding the choice of underlying AI models for automated workflows.

Azure Monitor Issues — Full Bi-Directional Integration 🔷

Azure Monitor Issues are now a first-class integration with in-context visibility.

  • New "Related Records" tab appears directly in the alert view for Azure Monitor Issues, letting operators drill into associated alerts without leaving their workflow.
  • Bi-directional sync — real-time ingestion via webhook and polling, with two-way synchronization of status, severity, title, description, and AI-generated insights. OAuth 2.0 and multi-tenant Azure environments supported.

đŸ’Ą Required apps: Event Management Connectors

Dynatrace Grail Support 🟢

Deeper Dynatrace coverage with the new Grail problem event connector.

  • Ingests Dynatrace Grail problem events and automatically binds alerts to the correct CI using root cause entity or CMDB tags.
  • Full Davis AI context, severity mapping, and event lifecycle (updates, reopens, merges) — including predictive, RUM, synthetic, vulnerability, and business process anomaly events.
  • Dynatrace Gen3 event payloads now supported in the event push connector alongside legacy formats — no migration required.

Express List Enhancements 📋

Making the operator's primary surface faster to scan and more inclusive.

  • Color-coded visual cues — admins can configure conditional formatting rules on alert columns (e.g., severity, priority) using existing sys_highlighted_value definitions, so critical items stand out through colored indicators and icons.
  • Right-to-left language support — full RTL support including Arabic and Hebrew, with correct mirroring of layout, icons, and spacing.

đŸ’Ą Required app: Service Operations Workspace Express List

Alert Automation Enhancements ⚙️

Restoring flexibility for teams configuring automated responses.

  • Static values for incident fields — in the "Create Incident Advanced" response action, users can now enter static text for fields like urgency and priority, in addition to alert-field references.
  • Multiline text support in compose actions — the Enrich page's compose action text field now preserves line breaks and spacing instead of collapsing to a single line, fixing formatted alert descriptions downstream.

đŸ’Ą Required app: Service Operations Workspace Alert Automation

Quality-of-Life Improvements ✨

  • Inline connector setup instructions — connector setup pages now include a collapsible instructions section covering source configuration and credentials, no more navigating away for docs.
  • Related alerts volume control — admins can now limit the volume of related alerts retrieved per connector, controlling data load in high-volume environments.
